A new winning bidding process at Cemre Shipyard: the new Danish service operation vessel will serve the Hollandse Kust West wind farm.

MELCAL foldable knuckle boom cranes will be radio remotely driven, and built and certified according to BV classification rules. This vessel, NB 1102, will have a low environmental impact thanks to a diese-electric propulsion system. “We, at MELCAL, are proud to be part of “green vessels” projects by reducing fuel consumption and emissions and drive the environmental transition”, stated Mr. Benedetto Catanzaro, CEO of the Company.

The cranes will support safe transfers at the wind farm by lifting tools and heavy spare parts.

This contract represents our third supply to Cemre Shipyard: “It is the proof of a good supply chain management and successful business development team. Our goal is to be more than a supplier: a trustful solution partner”, said Mr. Utku Yumruktay, MELCAL partner.
